PRAGUE GETTING ACQUAINTED

This tour allows even visitors short of time to get to know the most important sights of the “Golden City”. We show you the National Museum and Wenceslas Square, the Vysehrad Fortress, the Strahov and the Hradcany Castle district. You continue to the inner City, through the Jewish “Getto” to Parizska Street and the famous Old Town Square, where the tour ends.

 

PRAGUE HISTORICAL AND JEWISH TOWN

The first part begins with a walk showing you the highlights of the historical Prague white the second part includes a visit n the famous Jewish Quarter also called Josefov. After making you acquainted with the history of the former Getto and the Old New Synagogue, you will be shown around the old Jewish Cemetery, visiting also some of the synagogues. The excursion continues passing by the native house of Franz Kafka and ends in the Old Town Square.

To make your stay in Prague more pleasant and comfortable we would like to offer you this interesting and very popular type of a city tour. After a short bus drive you will spend one hour on board of a ship cruising in the historical core on themost impressive sights and monuments – both Hradcany Castle and St. Vitus’Cathedral, baroque churches of the Lesser and Old Town with Charles Bridge. During the cruise coffee and cake will be served. The last part includes a short walk through the Jewish Quarter and the tour ends in the Old Town Square.

 

  KARLSTEJN CASTLE

The most outstanding medieval castle founded and built by Emperor Charles 4. Between 1348 – 1355 AD as a depository for the Empire coronation jewels and state documents. This huge gothic castle is situated about 38-km southwest of Prague. After a guided tour making you acquainted with its history, return to Prague.

KUTNA HORA

Thanks to the prosperous silver mines, Kutna Hora became, after Prague, the second most important town of the Bohemian Kingdom in the Middle Ages. The wealth and prosperity led to the rich architectural development on the town and gave rise to many beautiful monuments – St. Barbara’s cathedral, the Italian Court with its Royal Mint, the Stone House etc. K. H., was declared a world heritage and since then has been protected by UNESCO. On request you can also visit the Ossuary

Our half day tour shows you one of the most important  castles in the closer  surroundings  of Prague.  We go to Konopiste  a lovely hunting castle, built in the 14th century ,rebuilt in  the 19th century ,housing  fascinating  collections  of historical  weapons , furniture , paintings  and tapestries.

CESKY KRUMLOV – UNESCO listed town

The most impressive medieval town that has still retained its ancient character. Governed by and had been in possession of the mighty and wealthy Lords of the Rozmberk dynasty C.K. became the capital of the southern Bohemia.  For its rich architectural and historical background C.K was declared the world heritage and since 1992 has been protected by UNESCO. While making a walk throughout the historical core of the town you can admire beautiful Renaissance houses decorated with graffito.  After lunch and our way back to Prague we’ll make a stop in the royal town of Ceske Budejovice founded in the 13th century, a place where the famous beer Budweiser has been brewed over centuries.

 

PRAGUE BY NIGHT

You will spend an enjoyable evening with us in the illuminated Prague. WE will take you to the Vltava River, where you will board a comfortable ship.  During the cruise with music entertainment, dinner will be served and you can admire the illuminated sights of Prague passing Carl’s bridge, the Castle District, the National Theatre, Vysehrad, etc.  The cruise will last 3 hours and then you will continue by bus to the most beautiful squares of Prague, for example the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. Our tour ends at the Powder tower.

 

BOHEMIAN GLASSFACTORY

In the Czech Republic there are more than two hundred glassworks where the famous crystal glass has been produced over centuries. If you feel like getting to know more about glass and its production, accept our invitation to a prestigious Bohemia glassfactory where you can witness and admire craftsmanship of the skilled glassmakers. In the factory grounds there is also a shop where you can buy glass for a reasonable price.

 

TEREZIN MEMORIAL

The former garrison town – originally built by Emperor Joasph 2.as an ingenious system of military fortresses for a protection of the kingdom at the end of the 18th century that was completely changed and converted into the

A renowned spa town located in the Western Bohemia - gained its reputation

Thanks to the discovery of hot mineral springs the history of which originates in the Middle Ages. The waters are used to treat all the kinds of disorders. Today there  are  12 hot springs in use here, and you   get the chance to taste them. The best known spring is named Vridlo – the Sprudel that belches its curative water to a height of 17 m. First we start with the glass exhibition of the Moser factory. After lunch you will be shown around the spa center and who feels like can have a swim in the Thermal hotel swimming pool.

Take your towel and swimming suite with you.

Cesky Sternberk Castle perching on cliffs in the romantic and wooded valley above the Sazava river ranges with other Early Gothic castles that originate in the Middle Ages, and the characteristic features of them are fortifications, bastions, towers. Later on its interiors were altered in the Late Gothic and Early Baroque style and are rich decorated with stucco works. Nowadays the castle is in possession of the family Sternberk again and houses very interesting exposition on castle living-style.
